Goal

The 20th Annual Parol Lantern Festival hired Kultivate Labs marketing team to handle all marketing and social media needs for the upcoming festival.

Previously, social media presence was not as prominent. The Instagram page dedicated ot the event had not been used since 2 years prior. Goal for the marketing team was to promote event and build a stronger social media presence as a foundation for future years of this event.


Approach

The marketing team planned a number of different things to promote this event. On the social media side, several campaigns and posts were planned:

  • “What is a Parol?” - carousel post going over what exactly is a parol and why there is a festival around it

  • History of Parol Festival Posts - carousel posts and reels using archive photos and videos of past Parol Festivals to stir up excitement for the

  • Perofrmer Highlights

  • Food Highlights

  • Event Guide - carousel post of the schedule of the events and what to expect

  • Post event - Archive Photos and Thank you to Sponsors and Partners

Additionally, the social media team had a presence on the Instagram Story on the day of event to show real time updates of the event.

Results

The Marketing Team was able to acheive all of our goals and the social media team was able to create a steady presence on the social media page.
